To provide a heat insulation floor structure that can lay a heat insulating material on the entire surface of the floor and reduce a load applied to the heat insulating material, and a construction method thereof.SOLUTION: A heat insulation floor structure comprises a horizontal member arranged at the rising parts of the foundations, a flooring material spanned between adjacent horizontal members, a heat insulating material disposed on substantially the entire surface of the flooring and having a predetermined compressive strength, a plurality of load receivers having substantially the same height as the heat insulating material and partially embedded in the heat insulating material, and a floor base material placed on insulating material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
