BUCKLING RESTRAINT BRACE
To provide a buckling restraining brace capable of effectively absorbing earthquake energy.SOLUTION: A buckling restraining brace 4 comprises: a pair of joint members 5 that are respectively fixed to a frame member of a structure; a core material 7 extending in the direction connecting the pair of joint members 5 to each other by connecting both end parts relative to the pair of joint members 5; and a stiffening tube 8 surrounding the core member 7 and extending in the same direction as the core member 7 and having both ends reaching positions where the pair of joint members 5 are covered. The buckling restraining brace 4 also provided with clearance adjusting members 9,10 disposed to fill the portion between the stiffening tube 8 and the core member 7 and to fill a portion between the pair of joint members 5. The stiffening tube 8 is fixed to the clearance adjusting member 9 at a position spaced in the longitudinal direction of the stiffening tube 8 from the pair of joint members 5; and the clearance adjusting members 9,10 are in contact with the core member 7 so as to be displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the core member 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】地震エネルギを効果的に吸収することができる座屈拘束ブレースを提供する。【解決手段】座屈拘束ブレース4は、構造物の架構材にそれぞれ固定される一対の接合部材5と、それら一対の接合部材5に対し両端部が接続されて一対の接合部材5を繋ぐ方向に延びる芯材7と、その芯材7の周りを囲むとともに同芯材7と同方向に延びて両端部が上記一対の接合部材5を覆う位置に達している補剛管8と、を備える。更に、座屈拘束ブレース4は、上記補剛管8と上記芯材7との間の部分を埋めるように、且つ、上記一対の接合部材5の間の部分を埋めるように配置されている隙間調整部材9,10も備える。上記補剛管8は一対の接合部材5から同補剛管8の長手方向に距離をおいた位置で隙間調整部材9に対し固定されており、隙間調整部材9,10は上記芯材7に対し同芯材7の長手方向について変位可能に接している。【選択図】図4
