To provide a building column for and a column end joint structure that can reduce the labor of processing a joint portion and can suppress protrusion of a ridge portion from the outer surface of a square steel pipe.SOLUTION: There is no need to weld the square steel pipe 11 and the joint portion 12 since a joint portion 12 provided at an end in the longitudinal direction of the square steel pipe 11 extends in the longitudinal direction of the square steel pipe 11 and four ridges 15 formed integrally with the square steel pipe 11 at equal intervals around the axis of the square steel pipe 11 are provided. For this reason, the processing effort of the joint part 12 can be reduced. Moreover, since the slit 17 is provided between the protrusions 15 and 15 adjacent around the axis of the square steel pipe 11, the outer peripheral length of the protrusion 15 is shortened. For this reason, protrusion of the protrusion part 15 from the outer surface (side surface 11a) of the square steel pipe 11 can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ジョイント部の加工手間を削減できるともに、角形鋼管の外面からの突条部の突出を抑制できる建築用柱材および柱端部接合構造を提供する。【解決手段】角形鋼管11の長手方向の端部に設けられたジョイント部12が、角形鋼管11の長手方向に延び、かつ、角形鋼管11の軸回りに等間隔で角形鋼管11と一体的に形成された4本の突条部15を備えているので、角形鋼管11とジョイント部12を溶接する必要がない。このためジョイント部12の加工手間を削減できる。また、角形鋼管11の軸回りに隣り合う突条部15,15の間にスリット17が設けられているので、突条部15の外周長が短くなる。このため、角形鋼管11の外面(側面11a)からの突条部15の突出を抑制できる。【選択図】図1
