To provide a method of producing a SiC fiber reinforced SiC composite material, capable of producing a SiC fiber reinforced SiC composite material having little amount of residual silicon, unreacted carbon, or pores present in the inner part thereof and having excellent heat resistance, by a simple method.SOLUTION: The method of producing a SiC fiber reinforced SiC composite material is characterized by comprising a first impregnation process of impregnating aggregate consisting of a SiC fiber with slurry consisting of water, SiC particles, and graphite particles, and a second impregnation process of impregnating it with molten silicon subsequent to the first impregnation process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】簡単な方法で内部まで残留シリコン、未反応炭素あるいは気孔が少なく、耐熱性に優れたＳｉＣ繊維強化ＳｉＣ複合材料が得られるＳｉＣ繊維強化ＳｉＣ複合材料の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】ＳｉＣ繊維からなる骨材に、水とＳｉＣ粒子と黒鉛粒子とからなるスラリーを含浸し、乾燥する第１含浸工程と、上記第１含浸工程の後に、溶融シリコンを含浸する第２含浸工程と、を有することを特徴とするＳｉＣ繊維強化ＳｉＣ複合材料の製造方法。【選択図】 図２
