To provide an operation detection device which can increase operation-detectable situations.SOLUTION: When a user, who possesses a portable machine 3, enters into a polling area, a micro computer of the portable machine 3 starts monitoring for detection values of an acceleration sensor when triggered by reception of a polling signal. The micro computer monitors detection values of the acceleration sensor over a constant time from the start of monitoring. As a constant time, a required time for the user from entry into the polling area until walking to the vicinity of a door panel handle is assumed. Detection values of the acceleration sensor differs depending on the possession mode of the portable machine 3. The micro computer sets a threshold of walking detection on the basis of monitor result. The micro computer determines that there is walking motion when a detection value, which exceeds the threshold, is obtained in walking detection when triggered by establishment of walking detection start condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】動作検知可能なシチュエーションの増加を可能にした動作検知装置を提供すること。【解決手段】携帯機３を所持したユーザがポーリングエリア内に進入すると、携帯機３のマイコンは、ポーリング信号の受信を契機に、加速度センサの検出値のモニタを開始する。マイコンは、モニタ開始から一定時間に亘り、加速度センサの検出値をモニタする。一定時間として、ユーザがポーリングエリア内に進入してからドアハンドル付近まで歩く場合の所要時間が想定されている。加速度センサの検出値は、携帯機３の所持態様によって異なる。マイコンは、モニタ結果に基づいて、歩行検知の閾値を設定する。マイコンは、歩行検知開始条件の成立を契機とする歩行検知において、当該閾値を超える検出値が得られた場合に、歩行動作有りと判定する。【選択図】図２
