To provide a bag body for civil engineering work which is inexpensive, which has appropriate flexibility and which has excellent durability.SOLUTION: A bag body for civil engineering work includes: a storage part 21 having a bottomed structure and for storing a filling material 30; and a hanging part 25 formed integrally being adjacent to the upper part of the storage part 21. The mesh size of a knitted fabric for constituting the storage part 21 and the basis weight per unit volume are made to be smaller compared to those of the hanging part 25, and the storage part 21 has a restraint action of the filling material 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
