To provide a movable partition device capable of allowing a partition panel to self-run along a guide path by simple travel control.SOLUTION: A movable partition device 1 partitions a space with a plurality of partition panels 2, 2,.. suspended from a rail 3 provided on a ceiling, movable along the rail 3 and connected in the width direction.
