A vehicle position detection device 80 mounted in a vehicle V includes: a storage unit 50 that stores the data of the positions of the wave transmitting-receiving apparatuses 10; a wave receiver 20 for receiving the ultrasonic wave from the wave transmitting-receiving apparatuses 10; and a calculation unit 40 for determining the position of the vehicle V in the parking area P, on the basis of the time difference between the receiving times by the wave receiver 20 of the ultrasonic waves simultaneously emitted from the plurality of wave transmitting-receiving apparatuses 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
