To provide effective suppression of the current exceeding a specified value from flowing through a heater, even if the heater has a relatively high rated output.SOLUTION: A toilet seat device includes: a switch for performing connection/disconnection between a power source and a heater; control means for executing heating control which sets a target energization ratio responding to a heating request within a range of not exceeding an energization ratio upper limit for the heater when the heating request is made to a heating target and controls the switch so that the heater is energized at the target energization ratio; and a current sensor for detecting current flowing through the heater. The control means executes a constant ratio energization control for controlling the switch so that the heater is energized at a predetermined constant energization ratio at a predetermined time when the heating control is not executed, and sets the energization ratio upper limit on the basis of the current detected by the current sensor during the execution of the constant ratio energization control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】比較的高い定格出力のヒータを備えるものとしても、ヒータに規定値を超える電流が流れるのを効果的に抑制する。【解決手段】便座装置は、電源と前記ヒータとの継断を行なうスイッチと、加温対象の加温の要求がなされたときヒータへの通電割合上限値を超えない範囲内で加温の要求に応じた目標通電割合を設定し目標通電割合でヒータが通電されるようにスイッチを制御する加温制御を実行する制御手段と、ヒータを流れる電流を検出する電流センサと、を備える。制御手段は、加温制御を実行しない所定時に、予め定められた一定の通電割合でヒータが通電されるようにスイッチを制御する一定割合通電制御を実行し、一定割合通電制御を実行している最中に電流センサにより検出された電流に基づいて通電割合上限値を設定する。【選択図】図4
