To provide a foldable footstool for work.SOLUTION: In a foldable footstool for work, supporting means (4) supporting a weight of a worker who performs high place work on a floor part, is configured with expandable means (5) and reinforcement means (6) which are to be combined. The expandable means (5) comprises: a bag (7) which is filled with liquid to expand and discharges the liquid to shrink; and pressure force surfaces (9) onto which the bag applies a pressure in at least a radial direction upon expansion, thereof. The reinforcement means (6) comprises a plurality of bone members (8) arranged on the supporting means in a condition that they are freely separated and secured with respect to a circumferential direction of the supporting means, and the reinforcement means is configured to maintain a fixed condition of the bone members (8) by receiving the pressure forces applied onto pressure force surfaces (9) of the bag. The foldable footstool for work is configured to allow the bag (7) to be freely foldable through shrinking and the bone members (8) to be freely disassembled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
