METHOD FOR COLLECTING SAND IN SAND BASIN
To provide a method for collecting sand in which earth and sand deposited in a bottom surface of a sand basin is flown into a sand collection pit by jetting low-pressure water through a nozzle while exhausting water in the sand basin, in which the earth and sand deposited in the bottom surface of the sand basin can be flown efficiently.SOLUTION: In a method for collecting sand in which earth and sand deposited in a bottom surface of a sand basin is collectively flown into a sand collection pit by jetting low-pressure water through a nozzle while exhausting water in the sand basin, using a sand lifting pump that when water level in the sand collection pit is equal to or above high water level, starts operation automatically and when the water level lowers to low water level, stops operation automatically, switching operation of a switch valve by which a switch valve for a nozzle header in a preceding-order region is closed and a switch valve for a nozzle header in a subsequent-order region is opened is repeated until jetting to a final region is completed, when it is detected that the water level in the sand collection pit lowers to intermediate water level between the high water level and the low water level. At that time, the intermediate water level as a temporal reference for the switching operation of the switch valve is set to a height position at which the water level in the sand collection pit does not lower to the low water level during the switching operation of the switch valve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
【課題】沈砂池の水を排出した状態でノズルから低圧力水を噴射して、沈砂池の底面に堆積した土砂を集砂ピットに流す集砂方法において、沈砂池の底面に堆積した土砂を効率良く流すことができるようにする。【解決手段】沈砂池の水を排出した状態でノズルから低圧力水を噴射して沈砂池の底面に堆積した土砂を集砂ピットに集める集砂方法において、集砂ピット内の水面が高水位以上にあるときは自動的に運転を開始し、その水面が低水位まで低下したときは自動的に運転を停止する揚砂ポンプを用い、集砂ピット内の水面が高水位と低水位の間の中間水位まで低下したことを検知した時に、先順の領域のノズルヘッダー用切換弁を閉めるとともに後順の領域のノズルヘッダー用切換弁を開ける切換弁の切換動作を、最後の領域への噴射を終了するまで繰り返す。その際に、切換弁の切換動作の時間的基準となる中間水位を、切換弁の切換動作の間に集砂ピット内の水面が低水位まで低下しない高さ位置に設定する。【選択図】 図13
