To provide a door repair method and a door which enable the door usability to be maintained.SOLUTION: A repair method of an existing door mounted in a building opening including: a removal step of removing an existing opening/closing body and an existing hinge that constitute a pre-repair door; a first mounting step of mounting a mounting auxiliary member 30 that is to be mounted to an inner-edge side surface of a door end side vertical member 11 on the door end side vertical member 11 after the removal step; and a second mounting step that is performed after the first step, the second step in which mounting a new hinge portion 40 to the door end side vertical member 11 via the mounting auxiliary member 30, mounting a new opening/closing body 20 to a new hinge portion 40, and providing an abutment portion 50 projecting toward a door end side existing airtight portion 11c on the new opening/closing body 20, establish an abutment between the abutment portion 50 and the door end side existing airtight portion 11c in a fully closed state with the result of an increased mutual airtight relationship between the door end side vertical member 11 and the new opening/closing body 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】扉の使用性を維持することが可能になる、扉の改修方法、及び扉を提供すること。【解決手段】建物の開口部に既設されている扉の改修方法は、改修前扉を構成する既存開閉体及び既存ヒンジ部を撤去する撤去工程と、撤去工程の後に、戸尻側縦枠材11の内縁側の側面に設けられる取付補助材30を戸尻側縦枠材11に取り付ける第1取付工程と、第1取付工程の後に行われる第2取付工程であって、新規ヒンジ部40を取付補助材30を介して戸尻側縦枠材11に取り付け、且つ新規開閉体20を新規ヒンジ部40に取り付けると共に、戸尻側既存気密部11cに向けて突出した当接部50を新規開閉体20に設けることで、全閉状態において当接部50と戸尻側既存気密部11cとの当接により戸尻側縦枠材11と新規開閉体20との相互間の気密性を高めることを可能とする第2取付工程と、を含む。【選択図】図2
