To provide a drain member capable of stably generating siphon action.SOLUTION: A drain member 1 for draining water from a bottom portion 51a of an eaves gutter 51 comprises: a lower cylinder fastened to a lower face of the bottom portion 51a; and an upper cylinder 20 attached to an inside of the lower cylinder. The upper cylinder 20 includes a lid member which is arranged inside the eaves gutter 51 and at a position separated upwardly from the bottom portion 51a and whose front and back faces are directed in a vertical direction. In the lid member, openings penetrating in a vertical direction are formed. 【課題】安定してサイフォン作用を発生させることができる排水部材を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】軒樋５１の底部５１ａから排水するための排水部材１であって、底部５１ａの下面に固着される下筒と、下筒の内側に装着された上筒２０と、を備え、上筒２０は、軒樋５１の内側で、底部５１ａから上方に離間した位置に設置され、表裏面が上下方向を向く蓋部材を有し、蓋部材には、上下方向に貫く開口が形成され、蓋部材の上面視における面積のうち、開口の占める面積の割合は、６０％以下である。【選択図】図２
