STEEL PIPE COLUMN AND CONVEX MEMBER FOR WELDING JOINT OF STEEL PIPE COLUMN
To provide a steel pipe column and a convex member for welding joint of the steel pipe column, with which a supporting plate may be welding-jointed to an end section of a steel pipe without using a backing metal, and rigidity and bearing strength of column head and column leg may be easily enhanced.SOLUTION: It is constructed by a steel pipe 1, supporting plates 2 arranged at ends of the steel pipe 1, a welding projection 3 provided on inside of the supporting plates 2 so as to contact to an end inner circumference of the steel pipe 1, and weld beads 5 provided between the ends of the steel pipe 1 and the supporting plates 2 so that the ends of the steel pipe 1 and the supporting plates 2 are integrated. Gaps are provided between the ends of the steel pipe 1 and the supporting plates 2. The welding projection 3 functions as a backing metal for welding joint of the ends of the steel pipe 1 and the supporting plates 2, and is formed in a plate shape perpendicular to the axial direction of the steel pipe 1. The weld beads 5 are formed successively in the circumferential direction of the steel pipe 1 between the end of the steel pipe 1 and the supporting plate 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】鋼管の端部に裏当て金を用いないで支圧板を溶接接合することができ、かつ柱頭および柱脚部の剛性と支圧強度を容易に高めることのできる鋼管柱および鋼管柱の溶接接合用凸型部材を提供する。【解決手段】鋼管1と、鋼管1の端部に設置された支圧板2と、支圧板2の内側に突設され、鋼管1の端部内周に内接する溶接接合用凸部3と、鋼管1の端部と前記支圧板2との間に設けられ、鋼管1の端部と支圧板2とを一体にする溶接ビード5からなる。鋼管1の端部と支圧板2との間に間隙を設ける。溶接接合用凸部3は鋼管1の端部と支圧板2とを溶接する裏当て金を兼ね、鋼管1の軸方向と直角な板状に形成する。溶接ビード5は鋼管1の端部と支圧板2との間に鋼管1の周方向に連続して形成する。【選択図】図1
