To improve the safety of a work for carrying in/out an eligible vehicle without allowing a person to enter a mechanical parking device, for example.SOLUTION: A carrying device confirms eligibility of storage or warehousing of a vehicle 40 by a vehicle self-traveling truck 20 for mounting a vehicle 40, and advances the vehicle 40 to a pallet PL installed in a storage space in a pit PT to park the vehicle. The carrying device comprises: the vehicle self-traveling truck 20 for a vehicle advancing toward a pallet PL; an operation device 52 for remotely controlling confirmation of eligibility and traveling of the self-traveling truck 20 outside of a vehicle approach path; a load-carrying platform 22 on which the vehicle 40 is placed; a self-traveling part 21 driven at a lower part of the vehicle self-traveling truck 20; a fixing mechanism 26 provided on a lower surface of the self-traveling part 21; a protruding detection section 50 for setting a storage space Bd in which the vehicle 40 is stored and detecting the contact between respective boundary surfaces Bdt to Bdb and the vehicle 40; and a measuring unit 51 for measuring the weight of the vehicle 40 to be placed on the self-traveling truck 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
