To provide a method of manufacturing colored concrete, which can use a wide variety of pigmented coatings and which is less likely to deteriorate an appearance due to secular change, and the colored concrete.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing colored concrete includes: a painting step of forming a colored film 3 by evenly applying a pigmented coating to the whole surface of a concrete block body 2, at least the surface layer part 2a of which is porous, and making it penetrate the inside of a void 6 of porus concrete; and a polishing step of shaving off the surface layer part 2a of the concrete block body 2 until exposing texture 4 of the concrete block body 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
