To provide a novel water stop device improved so as to reduce inconvenience.SOLUTION: A water stop device comprises: a water stop 1 that covers an opening from an outdoor side; a first seal member 6 that puts a seal between the water stop 1 and a floor surface 102; a second seal member 5 that puts a seal between the water stop 1 and a pair of vertical walls 31; a pair of guide mechanisms 7 for guiding the water stop 1 to an indoor side and the floor surface side with respect to the vertical walls 31; and a pair of holding mechanisms 8 for holding the water stop 1 in a state where the water stop is pressed against the indoor side and the floor surface side with respect to the vertical walls 31. Each of the guide mechanisms 7 includes a slope 11a1 that is provided at one of the water stop 1 and the vertical walls 31 and inclined to be closer to the floor surface 102 from the outdoor side to the indoor side, and a slide 12a that is provided at the other of the water stop 1 and the vertical walls 31 and relatively slidable along the slope 11a1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
