To provide a ground modification method which avoids a complicated process, which is inexpensive, which gives only a small load to environment and which has excellent ability of reducing liquefaction.SOLUTION: A ground modification method reducing liquefaction of a ground of this embodiment includes a modifier production process and a burying process. In the modifier production process, a modifier pile 12 is produced by compacting a modifier 22 containing used paper fibers as a main component into a column shape. In the burying process, the modifier pile 12 produced in the modifier production process is buried in an object soil 11 to be modified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】複雑な工程を招くことなく、安価で環境への負荷が小さく、液状化を軽減する能力の高い地盤改質方法を提供する。【解決手段】本実施形態の地盤の液状化を軽減する地盤改質方法は、改質剤生成工程と、埋設工程とを含む。改質剤生成工程は、古紙繊維を主成分とする改質剤２２を柱状に圧縮することにより、改質剤パイル１２を生成する。埋設工程は、改質剤準備工程で生成した改質剤パイル１２を、改質の対象となる対象土壌１１に埋設する。【選択図】図１
