BRIDGE PIER CONSTRUCTION METHOD
To provide an efficient bridge pier construction method.SOLUTION: A bridge pier construction method for building a pier 33 in a water area, comprising: a front stage construction step for constructing a steel pipe sheet pile well 1 in order to build a foundation for the pier 33 in the water area; a girder erection step for bridging an erection girder 5 to the steel pipe sheet pile well 1 so as to be supported by the steel pipe sheet pile well 1 via a temporary strut 7 provided on the steel pipe sheet pile well 1; and a pier construction step for constructing the pier 33 on the steel tube sheet pile 1 using equipment/material 9 conveyed through the erection girder 5. Prior to the girder erection step, the temporary strut 7 is provided on the steel pipe sheet pile 1 using the equipment 9 conveyed through the erection girder 5 that is cantilevered to the vicinity of the steel pipe sheet pile 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
