To provide an onboard apparatus, a program, and a keyless entry system with which it is possible to specify the position of a portable apparatus with good accuracy on the basis of the received signal strength of a signal to be measured, irrespective of the type of the portable apparatus.SOLUTION: An onboard apparatus pertaining to one embodiment comprises: a plurality of transmit antennas; an onboard apparatus transmit unit for transmitting a signal to be measured from each of the plurality of transmit antennas; an onboard apparatus receive unit for receiving, from a portable apparatus, a measurement result signal that includes the measurement data of received signal strength of the signal to be measured having been transmitted from each of the plurality of transmit antennas; and an onboard apparatus control unit for calculating a first distance to a plurality of preset areas from the portable apparatus on the basis of a difference between the received signal strengths of the respective signals to be measured that are included in the measurement result signal, and specifying an area from among the plurality of areas to which the portable apparatus belongs on the basis of the first distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
