To provide a lighting building member which can lighten and protect privacy without a need to use a handle as a blind.SOLUTION: A lighting building member has a front face and a reverse face, and has a face member having an opening that penetrates in the front and reverse direction, and a concave portion that concaves to the face member in the parallel direction, and comprises a translucent member which is installed on an inside face of the opening, and a shading member which fits in the concave portion, and overall covers an inside region of the opening.
