To provide a method for efficiently producing aluminum silicon carbide without consuming much energy.SOLUTION: Aluminum silicon carbide can be easily obtained with low energy consumption by adding a reaction accelerator having a C-F bond, such as a fluororesin, to a raw material powder containing an aluminum powder, a silicon powder and a carbon powder and performing self-combustion synthesis in an argon atmosphere under pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】多くのエネルギーを消費することなく、アルミニウムシリコンカーバイドを効率良く製造する。【解決手段】アルミニウム粉末、ケイ素粉末及び炭素粉末を含む原料粉末に、フッ素樹脂等のＣ−Ｆ結合を有する反応促進剤を加え、アルゴン雰囲気中、加圧下で自己燃焼合成を行うことで、低消費エネルギーでアルミニウムシリコンカーバイドを容易に得ることが可能となる。【選択図】 図１
