TIMBER JOINTING METAL FITTING
To provide a very practical timber jointing metal fitting capable of suppressing strength degradation of timber without requiring slit processing of a connection part, and preferably receiving a vertical load.SOLUTION: A timber jointing metal fitting for connecting a first timber 1 to a second timber 2 has a receiving metal fitting 3 attached to the first timber 1, and an insertion metal fitting 4 attached to the second timber 2 and inserted into the receiving metal fitting 3 from the upper side. The receiving metal fitting 3 is configured to have a receiving side fixing plate part 5 fixed to the first timber 1, a receiving side engaging plate part 6, and an upward concave supporting plate part 7 for supporting a lower end of the insertion metal fitting 4. The insertion metal fitting 4 is configured to have a convex inserting side fixing plate 8 with a lower end thereof formed to roughly correspond to the concave shape of the supporting plate part 7 and fixed to the second timber 2, and an insertion side engaging plate part 9 engaged with the receiving side engaging plate part 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
