To provide a handrail support device which can fix a horizontal rail to a support pillar for supporting a handrail in a good-looking manner.SOLUTION: A handrail support device includes: a plurality of support pillars 20 installed with an interval in the handrail longer direction; a horizontal rail 25 disposed in the height direction middle portions of these support pillars; and a horizontal rail fixing member 10 having a substantially square cylindrical shape in which the horizontal rail is inserted and fixing the horizontal rail to the support pillars. At a second side wall 17 disposed in parallel with a first side wall 14 opposing to a side surface 21 of the support pillar in the horizontal rail fixing member, an insertion hole 18 is provided for a fixing tool 8 to be fixed to the support pillar by penetrating the first side wall. At a lower wall 12 provided so as to connect lower end parts of these first side wall and second side wall, insertion holes 13 for fixing tools 9 to be fixed to the horizontal rail are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】手摺を支持する支柱に横桟を見栄え良く固定し得る手摺支持装置を提供する。【解決手段】手摺長手方向に間隔を空けて設置される複数本の支柱２０と、これら支柱の高さ方向途中部位に配される横桟２５と、この横桟が挿通される略四角筒状とされ該横桟を前記支柱に固定する横桟固定部材１０と、を備えており、前記横桟固定部材における前記支柱の側面２１に対面される第１側壁１４に平行状に配された第２側壁１７には、前記第１側壁を貫通して前記支柱に止着される止具８の挿通孔１８が設けられ、これら第１側壁及び第２側壁の下端部を接続するように設けられた下側壁１２には、前記横桟に止着される止具９の挿通孔１３が設けられている。【選択図】図１
