To provide an electric construction machine in which a driver in a cab can check the amount of power storage in a power storage device without removing his or her line of sight from a work device, and can check the amount of power storage in a power storage device even outside the cab.SOLUTION: An electric hydraulic excavator comprises a vehicle body, a work device 3 provided on a front side of the vehicle body, a power storage device, an electric motor driven by the electric power of the power storage device, a hydraulic pump driven by the electric motor, a plurality of work hydraulic actuators driven by the pressure oil discharged from the hydraulic pump to drive the work device 3, and a power storage amount indicator 15 for displaying the power storage amount of the power storage device.
