REPAIR METHOD OF GUARD FENCE
To provide a repair method of a guard fence capable of meeting with a new standard by reducing a burden on an impact load directed to a short axis direction of a terminal support without replacing the terminal support.SOLUTION: In an existing guard fence, end parts of a plurality of horizontal ropes 22 connected to an insufficient strength range Lof a terminal support 20 are cut off at a predetermined length; a terminal socket 31 is attached to a cut end of the horizontal rope 22 cut short by cutting; and a joint unit 40 having a buffer function is interposed between the terminal socket 31 attached to the cut end of the horizontal rope 22 and a terminal bolt 32 locked to the terminal support 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】端末支柱を交換することなく、端末支柱の短軸方向へ向けた衝撃荷重の負担を軽減できて新基準に対応できる、防護柵の改修方法を提供すること。【解決手段】既設の防護柵において、端末支柱20の強度不足範囲L1に連結してある複数の水平ロープ22の端末部を所定の長さで切除し、切除して短くなった水平ロープ22の切断端に端末ソケット31を取り付け、水平ロープ22の切断端に取り付けた端末ソケット31と、端末支柱20に係止した端末ボルト32との間に緩衝機能を有するジョイントユニット40を介装した。【選択図】図1
