To provide an electric blind system that can increase the amount of light taken into a room while blocking direct light.SOLUTION: An electric blind system 10, which has an electric horizontal blind 1 and a control unit 20, includes upper and lower slat groups which have a plurality of spaced-apart slats. The control unit is configured to control an inclination angle of the upper and lower slat groups in a plurality of automatic switchable operation modes, the operation modes include a low altitude mode and a high altitude mode, the lower slat group is controlled so as to be angled for blocking direct light in the low altitude mode and the high altitude mode, the upper slat group is controlled so as to be inclined from the horizontal to the outside of a room and to be angled for opening in the horizontal direction from the lower slat group, and in the high altitude mode, the upper slat group is controlled so as to be smaller in inclination angle than the upper slat group in the low altitude mode and to form reflected light upward from the horizontal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
