To provide a back door handle device in which a license lamp and a handle switch are integrated and the surface is covered by an elastic material, and that has a structure which can realize a reduction in the production cost as well as miniaturization.SOLUTION: A back door handle device 1 includes: a light-emitting element 11 as a light source for a license lamp; an open switch that outputs signals for unlocking a back door 50; a housing 20 that houses the light-emitting element 11 and the open switch; and an outer cover 30 that is an integrated molding including a transparent part 31 that is made of a material through which light emitted from the light-emitting element 11 can pass and an elastic part 32 that is made of an elastic material. The transparent part 31 includes a lens section 310 that extracts light emitted from the light-emitting element 11. The elastic part 32 includes a switch cover 320 that applies pushing forces from outside when the open switch outputs signals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
