To provide an outer handle device for a vehicle door in which an outer handle is linked to a handle lever and the handle lever is driven by an electric actuator so that the outer handle rotates from the storage position to pop-up position, and to improve merchantability by preventing the looseness of the outer handle when driving the handle lever using the electric actuator so as to rotate the outer handle from the storage position to pop-up position.SOLUTION: The present invention includes restriction means 48 that operates by following the movement of a handle lever 33 to a side away from the initial position when driving the handle lever 33 using an electric actuator 26 so that an outer handle is rotated from the storage position to pop-up position. The restriction means 48 restricts returning of the handle lever 33 from the maximum operation position to the initial position side when the handle lever 33 moves to a side away from the initial position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】アウトハンドルにハンドルレバーが連動、連結され、アウトハンドルが収納位置からポップアップ位置に回動するようにハンドルレバーが電動アクチュエータで駆動される車両用ドアのアウトハンドル装置において、アウトハンドルを収納位置からポップアップ位置まで回動するように電動アクチュエータでハンドルレバーを駆動した際に、アウトハンドルのばたつきが生じないようにして商品性を高める。【解決手段】アウトハンドルを収納位置からポップアップ位置側に回動するようにハンドルレバー３３を電動アクチュエータ２６で駆動したときにハンドルレバー３３の初期位置から遠ざかる側への動きに追随して作動する規制手段４８で、初期位置から遠ざかる側ヘのハンドルレバー３３の最大作動位置から初期位置側への戻りが規制される。【選択図】 図４
