JOINING STRUCTURE AND JOINING METHOD
To provide a joining structure and a joining method which make it possible to easily join structural members.SOLUTION: A joining structure 1 is provided with a tubular pole 2 having a first direction (Z-axis direction) as a material axis direction, a beam 3 including a web 31 and a pair of flanges 32 and 33 across the web 31 in the first direction and having a second direction intersecting the first direction as a material axis direction, and a joint member 4 for joining the pole 2 and the beam 3 together. The joint member 4 includes a pair of plate parts 41 opposed to each other across the beam 3 in a third direction intersecting the first direction and the second direction, and each of the pair of plate parts 41 is rigidly joined to both of the pair of flanges 32 and 33, and also rigidly joined to an outer peripheral surface 2s of the pole 2 so as to follow an edge part of the pole 2 when viewed from the second direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
