AUTOMATIC DOOR OPENING/CLOSING SYSTEM
To provide an automatic door opening/closing system capable of detecting an obstacle existing on a road surface in a periphery of a door to prevent an inadvertent getting-off of an occupant.SOLUTION: An automatic door opening/closing system 10 comprises: an imaging part 20 for taking an image of the road surface in a periphery of a vehicle including a periphery of a door 2; a door lock part 30 for locking the door in a closed state; a drive part 40 for opening/closing the door 2; an operation part 50 into which a door opening operation is inputted; a notification part 60 for notifying an occupant who has operated the operation part 50, of information; and a control device 70. When the door opening operation is inputted into the operation part 50, the control device 70 determines whether or not any obstacle exists on the road surface in the periphery of the door 2 using the taken image obtained by the imaging part 20, and upon determination of the obstacle existing, executes at least either a notification of an obstacle detection by the notification part 60 or an invalidation of the door opening operation inputted into the operation part 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
