To reassure a safety without giving excessive burden for unmanned confirmation for the user.SOLUTION: The mechanical parking device comprises a storage unit 81 for recording the detection information of each sensor, a first input controller 82 for activating an unmanned confirmation input device corresponding to an entrance hall at which a pallet to transport a vehicle to any entrance hall arrives when the pallet arrives and the entrance and exit door is opened fully for entry or exit, a disabling unit 83 for disabling a predetermined sensor for monitoring inside the entrance hall at which the pallet arrives when the entrance and exit door is opened fully, an activating unit 84 for activating the sensor when any one unmanned confirmation input device is disabled, a second input controller 85 for activating the unmanned confirmation input device corresponding to the sensor which detects an object when the sensor which detects the object is present in the activated sensors and an operation permission unit 86 for permitting a closing operation of the entrance and exit door in the state where all activated unmanned confirmation input devices are disabled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

【課題】利用者に対して無人確認の過度な負担をかけることなく、安全性を確保すること。【解決手段】機械式駐車装置は、各センサの検知情報を記録する記憶部８１と、いずれかの乗降室に車両を搬送するためのパレットが到着し、出入口扉が入庫または出庫のために全開した場合に、パレットが到着した乗降室に対応する無人確認入力器を有効化させる第１入力制御部８２と、出入口扉が全開状態とされた場合に、パレットが到着した乗降室内を監視する所定のセンサを無効化する無効化部８３と、いずれか一つの無人確認入力器が無効化された場合にセンサを有効化させる有効化部８４と、有効化されているセンサにおいて物体を検知したセンサがある場合に、物体を検知したセンサに対応付けられている無人確認入力器を有効化させる第２入力制御部８５と、有効化されている全ての無人確認入力器が無効化された状態で出入口扉の閉動作を許可する運転許可部８６とを備える。【選択図】図７
