To secure smooth motion of a swing door.SOLUTION: A door ECU has a function as a braking control part that controls actuation of a door check device serving as a braking device so that braking force is applied to a swing door of a vehicle. The door ECU has a function as a motion position detecting part that detects a motion position P of the swing door. Further the door ECU sets a strongly-opening prevention boundary αo at a side closer to a direction of closing than a fully-opening position Po which is limit of mechanical opening motion of the swing door. The door applies braking force to the swing door that performs motion of opening at a side closer to a direction of opening than the strongly-opening prevention boundary αo.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】スイングドアの円滑な動作を確保すること。【解決手段】ドアＥＣＵは、制動装置となるドアチェック装置の作動を制御して車両のスイングドアに制動力を付与する制動制御部としての機能を有する。また、ドアＥＣＵは、スイングドアの動作位置Ｐを検出する動作位置検出部としての機能を有する。更に、ドアＥＣＵは、スイングドアの機械的な開動作限界である全開位置Ｐｏよりも閉方向側に強開防止境界αｏを設定する。そして、ドアＥＣＵは、この強開防止境界αｏよりも開方向側で開動作するスイングドアに制動力を付与する。【選択図】図５
