To provide a multistage type platform fence which can extend an inspection cycle more than before.SOLUTION: A platform fence 2 (2R) includes: 1) a first rack and pinion mechanism part 21 which includes a first pinion 21p pivotally supported by a door pocket part 10 and a first rack 21r disposed on a first movable door 11, in order to slidingly move the first movable door 11 relative to the door pocket part 10; 2) a second rack and pinion mechanism part 22 which includes a second pinion 22p being connected to the first pinion 21p and pivotally supported by the door pocket part 10, and a second rack 22r disposed on a second movable door 12, in order to slidingly move the second movable door 12 relative to the first movable door 11; and 3) a motor 30 for driving the first pinion 21p. In the platform fence 2 (2R), the second pinion 22p is rotated in engagement with rotation of the first pinion 21p driven by the motor 30, and thereby, the first movable door 11 and the second movable door 12 are interlocked.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】点検周期を従来より長くできる多段式のホーム柵を提供すること。【解決手段】ホーム柵２（２Ｒ）は、１）戸袋部１０に枢支された第１ピニオン２１ｐと第１可動扉１１に設けられた第１ラック２１ｒとを有し、戸袋部１０に対して第１可動扉１１をスライド移動させるための第１ラック・アンド・ピニオン機構部２１と、２）第１ピニオン２１ｐと連なり戸袋部１０に枢支された第２ピニオン２２ｐと第２可動扉１２に設けられた第２ラック２２ｒとを有し、第１可動扉１１に対して第２可動扉１２をスライド移動させるための第２ラック・アンド・ピニオン機構部２２と、３）第１ピニオン２１ｐを駆動するモータ３０と、を備える。ホーム柵２（２Ｒ）は、モータ３０より駆動される第１ピニオン２１ｐの回転に噛合して第２ピニオン２２ｐが回転することで、第１可動扉１１および第２可動扉１２が連動する。【選択図】図２
