To provide a connection structure and the like that enable simple construction in connecting two base materials.SOLUTION: A connection structure includes a first base material 10 and a second base material 20 that are connected by fixing a first connection member 100 attached to the first base material 10 on a second connection member 200 attached to the second base material 20. The first connection member 100 includes: a pair of first side plates 121 and 122 that each stand on the first base material 10 and are arranged so as to face each other with a gap G1 therebetween; and a first horizontal plate 130 bridged between one and the other of the pair of first side plates 121 and 122. The second connection member 200 includes a pair of second side plates 221 and 222 that each stand on the second base material 20 and are arranged so as to face each other with a gap G2 therebetween. The pair of second side plates 221 and 222 are arranged so as to hold the pair of first side plates 121 and 122.
