To construct a catching body which easily connects divided portions of a post with each other in a catching body and which heightens strength by enlarging the area of a connection portion of divided portions with each other.SOLUTION: A construction method of a catching body constructs a catching body 1 which makes flowing water flowing from an upstream side of a river pass, which catches soil and stones, and which includes divided portions 21 and 22 connected with each other in an extending direction. To one divided portion 21 of the divided portions 21 and 22 connected with each other, a connection material 23 extending toward the other divided portion 22 in the extending direction is joined. In a state in which one divided portion 21 is abutted against the other divided portion 22, a part of the connection material 23 lapping over the other divided portion 22 is welded to the divided portion 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】捕捉体における支柱の分割部分同士を容易に連結するとともに、分割部分同士の連結部分の面積を拡大することにより強度が高められた捕捉体を構築する。【解決手段】河川の上流から流れてくる流水を通すとともに土石及び流木を捕捉し、延び方向において互いに連結される分割部分21,22を有する捕捉体1を構築する捕捉体の構築方法であって、互いに連結される分割部分21,22の一方の分割部分21に、延び方向に沿って他方の分割部分22に向かって延びる連結材23を接合し、一方の分割部分21と他方の分割部分22とを突き合わせた状態において、他方の分割部分22と重なる連結材23の部分を分割部分22に溶接することを特徴とする。【選択図】図3
