To provide an improved window assembly.SOLUTION: A window assembly may include a vacuum heat insulation glass unit 12 and a frame assembly. The vacuum heat insulation glass unit may include a first glass base plate 18 and a second glass base plate 20 for determining a space between the first glass base plate 18 and the second glass base plate 20 in which the pressure is lower than the atmospheric pressure. One out of the first glass base plate 18 and the second glass base plate 20 may include a vacuum port 24 extending from this base plate to the outside. The vacuum port 24 may determine a passage 25 communicating with a space. The frame assembly supports the glass unit 12, and may include a foundation member 32 and a glazing member 34. The foundation member 32 and the glazing member 34 are in cooperation so as to determine a slot 36 in which an end part of the glass unit 12 is stored. The glazing member 34 may include a hollow for storing the vacuum port 24. The foundation member 32 and the glazing member 34 may determine a plurality of pockets 38.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
