To provide a lock control device for controlling whether to unlock a door provided in a vehicle so as to reduce danger to the life and body of a driver in consideration of situations of the inside and the outside of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A lock mechanism control device 10 controls a lock mechanism 23 for locking or unlocking doors 21, 22 provided in a vehicle 20. The lock mechanism control device includes: a detection unit 11 for detecting that the vehicle is stopped; an information acquisition unit 12 for acquiring information on the vehicle or a peripheral environment of the vehicle; a determination unit 13 for determining either a first locking mode being a locking mode in which the doors cannot be unlocked from the inside of the vehicle or a second locking mode being a locking mode in which the doors can be unlocked from the inside of the vehicle on the basis of the information in the case that the detection unit 11 detects the stop of the vehicle; and a control unit 14 for controlling the lock mechanism according to the locking modes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
