To provide a building and an entrance storage capable of using the same handrail part (handrail) both when sitting on a seat part (bench) or standing up from the seat part and when passing through a step of an entrance rail.SOLUTION: A building having an entrance hall 21 and an entrance dirt floor 22 provided adjacently to the entrance hall 21 and having a floor surface lower than the entrance hall 21, comprises: a storage part 4 in which articles can be housed inside the entrance hole 21; a seat part 5 provided in the entrance dirt floor 22 adjacently to the storage part 4 and capable of being seated on the upper surface; and a handrail part 6 provided in the vicinity of a boundary portion between the entrance hole 21 and the entrance dirt floor 22 and in the vicinity of the seat part 5. An entrance storage 3 includes the storage part 4 provided in the entrance hall 21 and capable of storing an article therein, the seat part 5 provided adjacently to the storage part 4 in the entrance dirt floor 22 and capable of sitting on the upper surface, and the handrail part 6 provided near the boundary part between the entrance hall 21 and the entrance dirt floor 22 and near the seat part 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
