To provide a rolled H-shaped steel capable of reducing its weight while securing properties such as flexural rigidity and flexural strength, or a rolled H-shaped steel capable of improving the properties such as flexural rigidity and flexural strength with a cross sectional area equal to or smaller than a conventional one.SOLUTION: A rolled H-shaped steel satisfies a cross-sectional shape dimension and a strength shown in following 1) to 3), where an outer height of the rolled H-shaped steel 10 is H; a width of an upper flange 12 and a lower flange 14 is B; a thickness of a web 16 is t1; a thickness of the upper flange 12 and the lower flange 14 is t2; an inner height is d (=H-2×t2); a design strength of a steel material is F (N/mm2); and Young's modulus is E (N/mm2), and tensile strength is 400-670 N/mm2. 1) 2.4×(E/F)1/2
【課題】曲げ剛性や曲げ耐力といった性能を確保しつつ、重量を低減できる圧延H形鋼、又は、従来と同等以下の断面積で曲げ剛性や曲げ耐力といった性能を向上させることができる圧延H形鋼を提供すること。【解決手段】圧延H形鋼10の外法高さをH、上フランジ12及び下フランジ14の幅をB、ウェブ16の厚さをt1、上フランジ12及び下フランジ14の厚さをt2、内法高さをd(=H-2×t2)、鋼材の設計基準強度をF(N/mm2)、ヤング係数をE(N/mm2)とした場合に、以下の1)〜3)に示す断面形状寸法及び強度を満たし、かつ引張強さが400〜670N/mm2であることを特徴とする。1)2.4×(E/F)1/2<d/t1≦4.1×(E/F)1/2、2)240/F1/2≦B/(2×t2)≦(2B/d)×(E/F)1/2、3)235≦F≦440【選択図】図2
