To provide an opened/closed state detecting device detecting an opened/closed state of a shielding material of a manual shielding device which opens and closes the shielding material with an operation cord, the manual shielding device comprising the opened/closed state detecting device, and a shielding material state detecting system.SOLUTION: An opened/closed state detecting device 7 of the present invention comprises a sensor for detecting a shielding material opened or closed, a control unit 77 having a control unit 771 controlling monitoring of an opened/closed state of the shielding material of a manual shielding device based on an output value of the sensor, and a short-distance wireless communication unit 773 directly or indirectly notifying a communication terminal 5 registered in advance of the opened/closed state of the shielding material. A shielding material state detecting system 1 of the present invention comprises a home server 8 notifying a mobile terminal 5 of an opened/closed state of a shielding material of a predetermined manual shielding device 6 and/or an electric shielding device 6E having the opened/closed state detecting device 7 within a building or a partitioned area, when a user having the mobile terminal 5 goes out of at least the building or the partitioned area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
