To provide an overturn prevention structure and a construction method thereof, which can efficiently prevent overturn of a fixed object by a simple structure.SOLUTION: An upper fixing fixture 7 is an upper fixed part that is fixed on top of a piece of furniture 3. A floor fixing fixture 11 is a floor fixed part that is fixed on a slab 13 which is the floor. A flexible member 9 is a connection part that connects the upper fixing fixture 7 and the floor fixing fixture 11. The flexible member 9 is connected in one end to the connection part of the upper fixing fixture 7 which is arranged on the front side in the upper part of the piece of furniture 3. The flexible member is arranged along the upper part of the piece of furniture 3 toward the rear side of the piece of furniture 3. The flexible member is bent downward of the piece of furniture 3 near the rear edge part of the piece of furniture 3, arranged between the upper part and the floor part of the piece of furniture 3, and connected to the connection part of the floor fixing fixture 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
