To provide a manufacturing method of a ceramic-based composite material capable of suppressing a decrease in strength of the ceramic-based composite material and a ceramic-based composite material.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a ceramic-based composite material 103-1 includes: a zirconia-sol-containing layer forming step of forming a zirconia-sol-containing layer 24-1 containing zirconia sol on an interface layer 23 formed around a plurality of ceramic fibers 22 that makes up a woven fabric; an impregnating step of impregnating the woven fabric with a polymer 30; an oxygen supply step of supplying oxygen to the polymer 30; an inert firing step of forming a matrix 32 by heating in an inert gas atmosphere to react the polymer 30; and an oxygen firing step of producing the ceramic-based composite 103-1, in which the matrix 32 is arranged between the fibers 22, by further heating in an oxygen atmosphere to remove the interface layer 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】セラミックス基複合材料の強度低下を抑制可能なセラミックス基複合材料の製造方法及びセラミックス基複合材料の提供。【解決手段】セラミックス基複合材料１０３−１の製造方法は、複数のセラミックス製の繊維２２の周囲に界面層２３が形成された織布に、ジルコニアゾルを含有するジルコニアゾル含有層２４−１を形成するジルコニアゾル含有層形成ステップと、この織布にポリマー３０を含浸する含浸ステップと、このポリマー３０に酸素を供給する酸素供給ステップと、さらに不活性ガス雰囲気下で加熱することで、このポリマー３０を反応させてマトリクス３２を形成する不活性焼成ステップと、さらに酸素雰囲気下で加熱することで、界面層２３を除去して、繊維２２同士の間にマトリクス３２が配置されるセラミックス基複合材料１０３−１を生成する酸素焼成ステップと、を有する。【選択図】図８
