To provide a method for producing sewage sludge fermentation raw material, in which a stable aerobic fermentation can be performed even when the object to be treated is compressed, as well as an effective use of resources can be lead by a simple manipulation.SOLUTION: The method for producing sewage sludge fermentation raw material of the present invention includes a step in which a sewage sludge and a material are mixed or stacked to yield a sewage sludge fermentation raw material. An aeration-aiding material is contained as the material, and the compaction density of the sewage sludge fermentation raw material is set at 0.84 g/cm3 or less. It is also preferable that a fly-ash is contained as the aeration-aiding material, and contained by 5 pts.mass or more and 100 pts.mass or less for 100 pts.mass of sewage sludge.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】処理対象物が圧縮された場合でも安定した好気発酵処理を実施できるとともに、簡便な操作で資源の有効利用に繋げることができる、下水汚泥発酵原料の製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の下水汚泥発酵原料の製造方法は、下水汚泥と資材とを、混合するか又は堆積させて、下水汚泥発酵原料を得る工程を備える。資材として通気助材を含み、前記下水汚泥発酵原料の突き固め密度を０．８４ｇ／ｃｍ３以下とする。通気助材としてフライアッシュを含み、下水汚泥１００質量部に対して５質量部以上１００質量部以下含有させることも好適である。【選択図】なし
