To provide a self-standing type partition 1 partitioning a room space not reaching a ceiling face H, reinforced at an upper edge part of a vertical supporting column 3.SOLUTION: An upper reinforcement material 12 is engaged with a hollow upper edge part of a vertical supporting column 3 being a component member of a partition 1, and right and left side pieces 12c of the upper reinforcement material 12 are fixed by screwing to the vertical pieces 13a of a reinforcement receiving material 13 with right and left edge parts of a horizontal connection material 4 fixed by screwing thereto in a state of holding depth pieces 3a of the vertical supporting column 3, to thereby reinforce the upper edge part of the vertical supporting column 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
【課題】室内空間を仕切る間仕切り1が、天井面Hにまでは至らない自立型のものであっても、縦支柱3の上端縁部の補強ができるようにする。【解決手段】間仕切り1の構成部材である縦支柱3の中空状になった上端縁部に上部補強材12を嵌入すると共に、該上部補強材12の左右側片部12cを、横連結材4の左右端縁部が螺子固定された補強受け材13の縦片部13aに対してあいだに縦支柱3の見込み片部3aを挟む状態で螺子固定することで、縦支柱3の上端縁部の補強をする。【選択図】図16
