To provide an anode electrode for a solid oxide fuel cell having excellent thermal stability and a solid oxide fuel cell having excellent durability at high temperatures during power generation.SOLUTION: There are provided an anode electrode for a solid oxide fuel cell in which a chemical composition is CexZr2La(2-x)O7 (x=0.2 to 0.6) and that contains an electrode material made of a pyrochlore-type composite oxide having a superlattice structure, and a solid oxide fuel cell comprising the anode electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: None
