To provide a method and jig for easy removal of a dry hill part formed from a slurry supplied to a retarding basin.SOLUTION: The invention provides an accumulated ash small mountain removal method for removal of a dry hill part 101b which is a small mountain of an accumulated ash appearing from a water surface WS of stagnant water by accumulation of an accumulated ash of used coal, wherein a water flow of a prescribed pressure by a submerged pump 205 for pumping up of stagnant water is discharged toward an accumulated ash in a water area 202 of a dry hill part 101b from a discharge port 210a at a tip of a hollow hose 210 to crush and remove the dry hill part 101b of the accumulated ash using the water flow. In this occasion, in the water area 202 of the dry hill part 101b, a water flow WF is discharged toward the accumulated ash of a water surface border neighbor 202a at the border part of the water surface WS to crush the whole dry hill part 101b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】遊水池に投入されるスラリーによって形成される干陸部を容易に除去できること。【解決手段】使用済みの石炭の堆積灰の堆積により滞水の水面WS上に表出する堆積灰の小山である干陸部101bを除去する堆積灰小山除去方法であって、滞水を汲み上げる水中ポンプ205による所定圧力の水流を中空のホース210の先端の吐出口210aから干陸部101bの水中域202の堆積灰に向けて放出し、堆積灰の干陸部101bを水流で崩し除去する。この際、干陸部101bの水中域202のうち、水面WSとの境界部分の水面境界近傍202aの堆積灰に向けて水流WFを放出することで干陸部101b全体を崩す。【選択図】図2
