To reduce manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A frame material 100 for a fitting, having an integrally formed outer peripheral side element 110 disposed on one side relative to a virtual first reference plane P1 along a longitudinal direction and an inner peripheral side element 120 disposed on the other side relative to the first reference plane P1, is engaged with a sash 20 and a multiple glass 30 via a surface material engagement part 123 that protrudes towards an inner peripheral side from the inner peripheral side element 120. The outer peripheral side element 110 includes a peripheral outer shell constitution part 111 configured to be orthogonal to the first reference plane P1 and symmetrical relative to a virtual second reference plane P2 along the longitudinal direction.
