To provide a fireproof coating structure that can be easily constructed and that can secure the fireproof performance at a boundary part between different types of fireproof coating materials.SOLUTION: A fireproof coating structure 10 includes different types of fireproof coating materials 14 and 16 that cover different regions S1 and S2 on the longitudinal surface of a shaped steel 12, respectively, in which ends of the different types of fireproof coating materials 14 and 16 are superposed with each other via a predetermined laminating margin. The different types of fireproof coating materials 14 and 16 comprise: a foamable fireproof coating material 14 provided in the first region S1 of the surface of the shaped steel 12 and foamed by heating; and a non-foamable fireproof coating material 16 provided in the second region S2 on the surface of the shaped steel 12 adjacent to the first region S1 and whose ends are superimposed on the surface of the foamable fireproof coating material 14. The end side of the non-foamable fireproof coating material 16 is configured to allow deformation of the foamable fireproof coating material 14 in the out-of-plane direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
