To provide a fitted type roofing material capable of reliably draining rainwater to outdoors by adopting a hidden gutter without leaking rainwater that inevitably invades through the seams indoors, and a joint structure thereof.SOLUTION: The fitted type roofing material includes: one roofing material body; and the other roofing material body that is adjacent to the same and connected therewith, and a lower seam and an upper seam provided on each side edge are fitted with each other. An idle space is provided between the side ends, and in the idle space, a hidden gutter having a groove shape in cross-section along the side edge on the long side of the roofing material body is detachably arranged. 【課題】継ぎ目から不可避に侵入する雨水を屋内へ漏水させることなく隠し樋の採用によって、確実に屋外に排水できるようにしてなる嵌合式屋根材、およびそれの接合構造を提案する。【解決手段】一方の屋根材本体とこれに隣接させてつなぎ合わせる他方の屋根材本体とをそれぞれの側縁部に設けられている下ハゼおよび上ハゼを嵌合させることによって隣接配置し接合してなるその屋根材本体の側端部どうしの間に遊休空間を設け、その遊休空間内に、該屋根材本体の長辺側の側縁に沿う断面溝形の隠し樋を取外し可能に配設してなる嵌合式屋根材とこの屋根材の接合構造。【選択図】図１
